Anti-tamper security for vans.
Where a van is used to transport high value or sensitive goods, protecting the load in transit can be a challenge. Tradition plastic seals and anti-tamper tags simply won’t work.
Access to the load space via the van’s key is an obvious security risk. With a Secureseal unit fitted, tamper evidence can be achieved and therefore an additional level of protection added.
When approached by a company looking to add anti-tamper security to their Ford E-Transit van which carries high value goods to local outlets, Secureseal offered 3 levels of protection.
- Secureseal anti-tamper unit, generating a unique 5 digit code every time it is opened.
- Secureloc unit, generating a unique 5 digit code plus a key locking mechanism to create an independent barrier seal
- Secureloc Logger, the Secureloc unit paired with the unique standalone logger unit that electronically records the time and date the door was opened. The ultimate anti-tamper protection and arguably the ultimate deterrent.
In this case, due to the nature of the items in transit, the client opted for option 3. Fitted in 45 minutes, including disabling the side door, the unit was providing the level of security required and the van entered service.
